Framing Stories, Building Community
Flordalis Espinal isn’t just a photographer—she’s a force in the creative community. Born and raised in the Bronx, her work is raw, real, and intentional. We first crossed paths through her significant other, a music artist whose visuals immediately stood out to me. When I looked deeper, I saw the consistency, the storytelling, the vision—and I knew someone with true skill was behind it. That someone was Flordalis.
We met in person at the “Light Show” event in a studio in the Bronx, and from that moment on, we stayed connected. Over time, she’s become a great friend. Her passion extends beyond her own work—she’s built Girls Who Shoot, a platform that brings women together through photo walks, creativity, and community.
Flordalis doesn’t just take photos. She documents life, she uplifts, and she makes sure the stories that matter are seen.
